Yes, you can use it from ngxtension.

If you don't want to install a third party, then just copy the source code for it and store it as a helper utility in your project (but you will have to sync it everytime it has any fixes/features).

I think it is not provided yet, because they have other priorites for the moment (having signals introduced more in the core parts of the fwk), and later maybe they will explore this field too.
